In the Taco Aisle

Tortillas tempt me
stacks of pale yellow and soft tan,
pinkish-red tomato and bright spinach green;
Flour burrito platter size,
fajitas or carnitas,
soft or fried.
Margaritas and sunny beaches.
I sigh
–grab a plain package
bump and roll
down the aisle.

Prompts: Margo’s for a list poem, and We Write Poems for the supermarket.
